This is an illustration that smells of earth and mountains, of forests and food. And it is about the beauty of letting biodiversity be. Thanks to that stranger who last year made a commentary on another illustration of mine: he said it was beautifully composed, that it had some rhythm, and that worked as a decoration, but deep down it was sad, a human life lost into the repetitive pattern of a mono-crop. All we know that monoculture is fast production but is poisoning the soil, other life forms and us. So, this is another version of ‘El Cebollero’ in the form of a food forest farmer, more full of the slow life that waits, and hopes.
